A lawyer for Bobby Brown appeared in a Los Angeles court this week and pleaded not guilty on his behalf after he was arrested for driving under the influence last month. He was pulled over for talking on his cellphone and failed a subsequent field sobriety test.
Brown’s blood alcohol content later was registered at 0.12 on a breathalyzer. The 43 year-old is currently facing three misdemeanor charges, including driving with a suspended license.
His lawyer also fought against a no-alcohol restriction, stating that Brown’s blood alcohol level was not very high and that he had never had a DUI in California. The judge kept the no-alcohol restriction due to his history of substance abuse.
