A man was shot and killed in a San Jose East Side neighborhood Saturday. According to police reports, the man was shot while playing pool in a neighborhood garage.

The finance manager of Toyota of Colchester was acquitted Tuesday of embezzlement charges in connection with a scheme which cost the dealership over $300,000. Orrin Alford, 30, had been charged on two counts of first-degree larceny and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny.
